Not the similarly-named and more-recent Ontario (Canada) pop-punk band, Quebec's "Cold Front" was a local Montreal rock band that was formed in the mid 1980's. The founding members consisted of drummer Michael Allan Blain (Mab), lead guitarist Winn Tressy (Winn), bassist Robbie Cohen (Randi), keyboard player Jay Tabac and Stacey Levy. Darrell Brown (Ice Man) came on board as lead vocalist and Stacey left the band. They played several gigs in the Montreal region and they recorded a few cuts, but it's unclear whether the band released anything more than their debut single ("Finally On My Own" b/w "Wine and Roses"). Although planned, the foursome never managed to release a full-length LP.
