A1 to A3 recorded at Carnegie Hall, New York City on September 16, 1950. First Released on "Norman Granz' Jazz Concert #1", initial release on Norgran Records and later on Verve Records entitled "Midnight Jazz At Carnegie Hall". A4 to A6 recorded at Carnegie Hall, New York City on September 18, 1949, and first released on this compilation. Tracks B1 to B4 recorded at Chicago Opera House on October 19 1957. Recorded in Stereo, but released in mono.
