A.k.a. Martin Damm
Montreal (Quebec) based group. Project of producer Guido Diodati who had released a few Italopop songs in the 1980's such as "Terrorist Attack", "Major Malfunction" and "Call Me". The very first edition of the album 'Collage' (1991) had the group presented as a quatuor (Diodati/Sommers/Leena/Condor). The year after, when 'Hasta La Vista' became a hit, the album was re-released (with the new title "Hasta La Vista") but this time presented as a trio (Diodati/Sommers/Leena) with a backing team (visible in the videos) composed of Chantal Chamandy AKA Chantal Condor, future diva Natalie Choquette and guitarist Robert Stefan (2) among others. "Hasta La Vista" was, in fact, a compilation of tracks originally written by Italian artists and sung by Ricchi E Poveri. A second album, "Duo", finally presented Collage as such, Leena Falciglia & Francis Sommers, with Guido Diodati on production only. It was released in 1994, but went totally unnoticed.
