Collioure is a solo project by Takahiro Nakamura. He is an artist, producer, remixer, and DJ based in Tokyo. In 2003, he began working under the name Collioure, and released his first album "Colors of the Spirit" in 2005 on his own label, kuh recording, released his second album "Truth with Elegance" in 2007, released "Beautiful Things" under the name Nakamura Takahiro in 2008, and released his third album "Timeless Pulse" in 2010. All of his works have been critically acclaimed not only in Japan, but around the world. In 2011, he suddenly came to the attention of the chill out scene when German chill out label IdealMusik included one of his compositions on a collaboration album. In 2012, he released a best of Collioure album under another German chill out and lounge label Diventa Music. This album was well-received, mainly in Europe, and tracks from the album were licensed for mix CDs and compilations worldwide, appearing on more than 50 albums and still rising at present. Since 2010, he has been working actively as a remixer, and so far, has been inundated with offers from labels and artists all of the world, from France to Italy, Spain, Russia, and Ukraine. Word of his skills and his name recognition have spread steadily, both at home and abroad. In 2012, he established the new label REIMEI MUSIC as a new base for his own activities to be expanded worldwide. The label's first offering, his own single "The Beginning", hit number one on Sweden's Tunnel FM weekly chart. The subsequent second single "Skywalker" also had a great achievement when it was selected for the "10 MUST HEAR INDIE DANCE TRACKS" list created by American online music distribution service Beatport. Since then he seeks to collaborate actively with artists and producers from around the world, and has continued to release works created by these talented artists. In 2013, he finally completed his fourth album as Collioure, "Dreaming of Paradise". This latest works is composed on genres centered on Deep house and NuDisco, and includes the first vocal tracks for Collioure, making it an ambitious work that gives a glimpse at a new facet of the artist.
