The band Compañeros are a group that were based out of Toronto Canada that have been playing off and on since the mid 1970's. They had reformed in 2013 with some new membership and started playing weekly shows in toronto but then marcelo suffered a fairly serious injury to his chording hand. The original lineup was comprised of Chilean and Greek political exiles, and, as you might expect, most of the songs related to their experiences both in their countries of origin and their early experiences in Canada.
