A.k.a. Fred Conrad Smith

Connie 'Guybo' Smith was born in 1939 and met Eddie Cochran at Bell Gardens Junior High in September 1951. The two formed a friendship and musical bond that would last throughout Eddie Cochran's life that was cut short on April 17, 1960. Guybo would play bass on the majority of Eddie's records.
