Panamanian hardcore/punk group Conspiración Piromaniaca was formed in the early '90s after Acid Drunk disbanded. From 1991 to 1993, the band self-released three demo tapes: "Broma Sangrienta", "Entretenimiento Funeral" and "Factor Putrefacto", which were well received in Panama, but the band was on a short hiatus after releasing thier 3rd demo tape. In 1994, helped by Cage's Evan Rodaniche, they recorded a demo called "El Carretillo Sucio" with a different line-up. A year later, percussionist Tito González (from death metal band Enslaver) joined in. The band had the opportunity to open for such important bands as Héroes del Silencio (in 1996), Paralamas and Def Leppard (1997). In December 1998, The band's self-titled album was released by independent Medallón Cósmico Records. After some touring, longtime vocalist David Reymore leaves the band in 1999. In 2000, with new members, the band records a new single "Destinados" (for which a music video was created). However, the band is on a seemingly indefinite hiatus.
