Album UK 1971 on Leader label
Folk (Folk, Vocal, Ballad)
Box set including 16 page black & white booklet. Discs are numbered individually as LEA 4046, 4047, 4048 & 4049. The original release of this 4LP set (also blue labels with silver text) was housed in a thin cardboard wallet-style cover: A Song For Every Season which was very prone to tearing and therefore rapidly replaced by this version's more durable hard cardboard box. The top right hand corner of the back cover reads: "Leader LEAB 404 stereo" above "With booklet". On back of cover and booklet: "Leader Sound Ltd, 5 North Villas, London, N.W.1." LEA 4046 has typo on labels: "Pater Beer Night" should be "Tater Beer Night". Box has green text on spine. The Recordings were made at the home of Bob Copper, Peacehaven, Sussex. Mastered at E.M.I.
