Coastal Reveries is a privately commissioned work that was recorded from October-November 2012. Only two identical CD-R copies were produced (one for the artist and one for the commission) and came with a signed and inkstamped certificate of authenticity, Creative Commons rights to the work for one year from publish date and a microsite containing photographs, digital downloads and a body of text written especially for this album. Additionally, an ambient reduction of the entire album, titled Lust's Nightly Glories, was furnished via the microsite in the form of a digital download, and bearing a separate catalog number.
