Cornelius Waldner is the principal member of German neo-folk/neo-classic group Sagittarius, playing piano, synth, flute, and singing. He is of Finnish-German descent. He used to be an active member in the Black Metal underground. He became a much sought after contributor in the neo-folk/neo-classic scene. He has played with HERR, Von Thronstahl, The Days Of The Trumpet Call, Rose Rovine E Amanti and several others live and/or in the studio. He runs the artist circle “Die Neue Runde” and cites the German poet Stefan George as one of his primary influences.
