Punkband from Belgium Corpus Christi started in late 1991 when Goemi, Bram and Colli start talking of forming a band. The first rehearsal went by early 1992 but they had no bassist and because Bram was good friends with the melodic hc band CRY FOR CHANGE he asked their guitarist(JOHAN) he could join the band and play bass. With Johan there they did 1 gig in October 1992. After that gig Johan decided to leave the band because it was not his style of punk. After a few months with only 3 members (Colli bass / vocals), they meet Stef / Wim who both played in WAR CRY along with the legendary PEDRO and asked Stef to join the band and play bass. At the same time BRUNO from GENET records in Belgium asked to record songs for a split ep with FORCA MACABRA from Finland, So they went to the CATS studio in Bruges and recorded 7 tracks in May 1993. 4 for the split and 3 unreleased. After the recordings Goemie had too little time to play further in C.C.and left the band, but because the EP did well and several gigs were planned, they sought another bassist (Stef decided to play guitar) and they found Siesele whose band PRIVATE JESUS ​​DETECTOR called it a day by then. That was around October 1993. This was the last lineup of C.C. and also the most important. New songs were made and almost all of their appearances was with this line-up. There were even plans for a split lp to be released by a French label (Sludge Records) other band ???... forgotten. But internal fights between some members of the group when the band was one their peak did the band split. However nowadays we drink beer together again and make fun. The past is the past. Fuck the past. The first picture in the movie is from the first gig with Johan on bass. At the end of the movie you see Wim who was always ready for the band and saw every gig. So that's why he's been a member of the band. We played with lots of great Belgian/foreign bands like HELLKRUSHER, OI POLLOI, UUTUUS, AGX, HIATUS, SUBCLASS, SELFISH­, D.I.R.T, CHAOS U.K., SPLIFF, SYSTEMPHOBIA, HEALTH HAZARD, THE VARUKERS...maybe Wim, Bram, Stef and Colli remember more than me. The band never played outside Belgium.
