Corpusse is the experimental, noise and avant-garde solo project of John Ashton (2). Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, but currently based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Corpusse has been active since the mid-1980's and still performs on a regular basis. Corpusse revolves around John Ashton's musical and lyrical creativity, but he has often collaborated with guest musicians, both on recordings and for live performances. Some of these collaborations are one-offs, others last many years.
