Mindspring Music Presents: Cortex Jammers - High Asia [mSM066] Cortex Jammers is the brainchild of Ukrainian electronic artist Molfarsky, who has previously released on Ovnimoon Records, Visionary Shamanics Records, and Subbass Netlabel. Molfarsky`s very own special magnetic spy-dub style and Buddhist trip-hop landscapes (based on stories of strange local phenomena like mysterious distant music heard by locals in the snowy mountains by night, dream manifestations of Dakinis and Nagas, strange connections between Ahnenerbe, high priests and Lamas, the CIA, and Tibetan drug cartels) are joined by the multi-layered futuristic logic and skills of producer and sound engineer Pavlo Storonsky (known for his project Tineidae on Tympanik Audio) to form the Cortex Jammers project. You can expect eerie trip hop, transcendental bass music, psychedelic D`n`B and even experimental techno ley-lines. Let the beauty unfold. High Asia E.P. was born in the mountain kingdoms of Kinnaur and Spiti Valleys, at the Northern Himalayas bordering with China, besides ancient temples and crumbling sacred paintings from the sixth to ninth century, which are prohibited to photography. There are some really magick atmospheres on these high plateaus, full of signs, winds and spirits.
