Disco - soul - boogie singer Born on 25.04.1952 in New York, NY, U.S. After three albums as a lead singer with Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band, she embarked on a solo career. Her 1979 debut album was produced and led by Sandy Linzer. She had a big dancefloor hit with "Pow Wow". In 1987 she returned with a boogie soul album without any significant success. She has collaborated extensively with Kid Creole And The Coconuts.
