Single CA 2009 on Rockonski label
R&B/Soul and Spoken Word (Story, Field Recording, Soul)
7 inch vinyl record, with 4 inch sqaure color photograph, limited edition, contemporary fine art The edition of Hush My Dear is a group show on vinyl pooling an array of talents: On the west side of the record, singer Ndidi Onukwulu, originally from Burns Lake, BC and now living in Paris sings a haunting blues song to her heart. Her song, Little Hearts Big Hills is inspired by her pitter patter when she tries to speak French. On the east side is a bedtime story for children of all ages called Flight Start starring celebrated artist Michael Snow as "Gandhi the Goose." Written by Aleck Snow and Antoni Wojtyra, the story pays tribute to Toronto, family, migrants and dreaming. It is written in a manner to aid sleep and to induce flying dreams to the listener. The cover of the record features a photograph from October 26, 2008 by the amazing Cosmo Dean.
