Covesthur is one of the many aliases of the Covesthur Project. The character Covesthur is an ancient tortured spirit who creates soundwaves which could be categorized as music. His form is non-existent, but if he decides to exist in physical shape he can be seen as a thick cloud of smoke, which smells similar to carbondioxide. The music is most of the time kinda dark, but at times the music experiments with other moods and styles. At most times the music can experienced as trippy and spacey. A factor shared between most of the music is the usage of electronic sounds. The main thing which is different from the other aliases is the fact that most of the music are made from no pre-made ideas, and comes together while composing it (improv). Covesthur's music aren't stuck to one genre, and most of the time the music is generally impossible to categorize in a genre. Except for electro (because of the usage of synths as main instruments) or abstract (because of the other reasons).
