British drummer, and co-founder of the indie band, Inspiral Carpets. After the band split-up in 1995, Gill went on to run a record stall at Affleck's in central Manchester, and worked as a club DJ (at several venues, including The Hacienda). He was an integral part of the act reforming in 2003, with whom he remained until his death in 2016. Born: 5th December 1971, Salford, Lancashire, England. Died: 22nd November 2016. [aged 44]
