A.k.a. Andrew Lyon

Originally conceived as Secret of Hysteria in 1997, the duo of Aaron Shearer and Andrew Lyon adopted the name Creassault in early 1998. The pair formed the core of the project around which numerous contributors were also added, including DJ Nightmare. Onstage, Creassault used a combination of pre-recorded and sequenced backdrops, over which improvised electronic textures and live instrumentation was layered. Lyon and Shearer took the project into hibernation in late 1998, emerging in late 1999 with an all new line-up, only to play their final gig. This line-up, sans Shearer, went on to become N.U.T.E. Lyon resurrected the Creassault moniker in 2005 as his own solo project, this time exploring down beat electronics, breakCore and drum and bass, with themes of horror and gore... but with a cute element.
