Cristy C. Road (born May 26, 1982 in Miami, Florida) is an American illustrator and musician. While most widely recognised among the DIY punk subculture, she occasionally illustrates for national publications such as Jane, and larger bands such as Green Day. Her illustrations began as a backdrop for her teenage Green Day fanzine, Greenzine (started in 1996), and eventually evolved into her current style. She has toured numerous times with the alternative literary troupe Sister Spit: The Next Generation spearheaded by Michelle Tea. Her books Distance Makes the Heart Grow Sick (a set of postcards) and Bad Habits (an illustrated novel) were released by Microcosm Publishing and Soft Skull Press respectively. She is also a member of the punk band The Homewreckers and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
