A.k.a. Shane Millhouse
Having come into hiphop over 15 years ago from an eclectic musical background which is evident in his music today, Crixus has already had an accomplished career. His debut solo release “Abstract Junk” (a tape only release from 2001), has been dubbed “inspirational” & “classic” by his peers. It also earned him a spot on the illustrious Culture of Kings compilation in early 2002. Over a long performing career, Crixus has rocked stages with everyone who’s anyone in the Australian hiphop scene, including performances & tours with perennial ARIA Award winners Hilltop Hoods & Koolism. Along with countless other gigs with popular Australian & international hiphop acts, including Muph & Plutonic, Horrorshow, Spit Syndicate, Thundamentalz, Quan, Tzu, Funkoars, Pegz, Hunter & Dazastah, Lyrical Commission, Combat Wombat, J-Red, Curse ov Dialect, Lotek, DJ Selekt, etc., etc… the list goes on. Aside from performing hiphop at his own live shows, Crixus has hosted & performed at Open Mic Nights, MC & DJ Battles, Radio shows, & Poetry Slams around the country dating back to 2003. With an intensely personal & honest writing style which has earned him recognition & praise as one of the Australia’s finest hiphop lyricists from (often better recognized) peers, Crixus’ 2007 release “Throwaways Vol. 1” was widely distributed to & downloaded from, all corners of the country completely through word of mouth.
