Thus the Superior Man understands the transitory in the light of the eternity of the end. 7(55) Feng - Abundance [fullness] - Both thunder and lightning come : The image of ABUNDANCE. Thus the Superior Man decides lawsuits and carries out punishments. 8(56) Lu - The Wanderer - Fire on the mountain : The image of the WANDERER. Thus the Superior Man is clear-minded and cautious in imposing penalties,and protracts no lawsuits.
