Cyber-Tec Project

Band,
Dance

An electro-industrial supergroup lead by vocalist Jean-Luc De Meyer (Front 242, Cobalt 60, etc.), Jonathan Sharp (New Mind, Bio-Tek, etc.) and Ged Denton (Crisis NTI). The name was taken from Cyber-Tec Records, who released their first and only album, it contained an international club hit "Let Your Body Die". After this release, Jonathan Sharp left the band due to problems with Cyber-Tec Records manager Paul M Green. The remaining members shortened the name to C-Tec, signed to Wax Trax! Records in the U.S. and Marc Heal (Cubanate) joined as a full-time member. After Jonathan Sharp left the band, he formed Hyperdex-1-Sect with Sevren Ni-Arb from X-Marks the Pedwalk.
