Cycor were an independent hardcore industrial act from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Starting in 1994, and after many various line-up changes, the nucleus of the band was cemented in mid-1995 with founder Acostt Rage (vox, samples, synth, programs) and Moloquin (guitars, bass, programs, synth, samples, additional vox). After all initial songwriting and demos had been completed, Canthus7 joined the fold on live drums, additional samples and programs. From 1996-1999 a handful of different releases were sold at live shows and indie music shops but, because of the constant economic struggle most independent artists face, Cycor were unable to fund their second full length CD. By the summer of 2000, after a 6-year struggle, Cycor disbanded with each member going ahead with individual projects.
