Cygne Noir is a singer, musician and producer based in Germany. A one-man band, he plays and programs all the instruments in the studio and performs solo, with a laptop, a keyboard, the occasional guitar and a microphone, on stage. Cygne Noir’s music, takes the best bits from Depeche Mode’s synth work, Cut Copy’s danceability, The Whitest Boy Alive’s jazzy-grooves and Phoenix’s popiness, combined with lush guitars and a voice reminiscent of Robert Smith, to bring to life, a sound that’s both fresh and invigorating. Since 2011, Cygne Noir has released three EPs, a full-length album and two singles. For the time being, the new singles are only available on Bandcamp.
