It is integrated by two talented musicians, Julio Martínez "El Peregrino" (The Pilgrim) and by Freddy Pérez "El Delfín" ( The Dolphin). Sincopa Duet "Síncopa" starts as an artistic project in February 1988 and it is not until that it is officially recognized during the Contest and International Guitar of Habana, Cuba. The duet has as the essential vocation to maintain a repertoire that ranges from the works of universal composers such as Bach Mozart Boccherinni, Lecuona and Brouwer to the most traditional themes from Cuba music.This format (guitar and Cuban tres), quite unusual in our current musical practice, propitiate a suggestive sonority of great timber and harmonious possibilities ar Festival They have shared the stage with important figures of the international guitar world among which we should mention David Roussel, Alvaro Pierre, Juan Carlos Laguna, Vicente Amigo and his Group, Rey Guerra, Leo Brouwer, Costa Cossioli, Pepe Romero, Jorge Luis Chicoy, Chucho Valdés and Irakere and Los Clásicos del Son, among others. In 1998, they are invited to Huesca Spain where they share a recital with legendary Cuban music figures like Francisco Repilado (Compay Segundo) and his Muchachos (boys), Pío Leiva, Omara Portuondo, Elíades Ochoa and the Patria (homeland) Quartet, apart from completing an intense concert tour through the North of that country as members of the Cuban artists delegation participating in the international music festival "Pirineos Sur" (South Pirinees)
