A collection of previously unreleased live and home recordings made in 1984 and 1985. Edited and mixed October 2002 Mastered at Velvet Grape Includes a 12-page full-color booklet with photos and outtakes from Minutemen album cover sessions. Tracks 1-16, 20-21: Recorded at various livingroom party jams between November 1984 and June 1985. Tracks 17-19: Recorded live at the Music Machine, Los Angeles, 5 April 1984. Tracks 22-25: Recorded live at the Lhasa Club, West Hollywood, 27 June 1984. (The only "D. Boon / Hammerdown" gig) Tracks 26-32: Minutemen (with guest drummer), recorded live at University of California, Los Angeles, 30 January 1985. Track 33: (solo acoustic) Recorded at D. Boon's home May 1985 All songs recorded on cassette (condensor microphones), except tracks 3, 8 and 15 on stereo open-reel, and 33 four-track open-reel. Issued with two different colour covers.
