A.k.a. Curtis Alan Jones & Liddell Townsell
Da Rebels was the collaboration of the Chicago legends Curtis Alan Jones & Liddell Townsell. Curtis Jones was most well known for his later work as Cajmere, and then Green Velvet, while Lidell Townsell made some of the first groundbreaking Acid House records for Trax as well as helping out other house pioneers such as Tyree Cooper. Together the pair made some incredible records for the label Clubhouse. The track House Nation Under A Groove from the D.I.U. E.P. on Clubhouse was licensed by Ugly Music in 1997 and remixed by a number of Ugly's artists including Harvey and Future Monument.
