Released in 2003 by DJ Clarknova, this CD was originally to be the successor to Toonami's previous release Toonami: Deep Space Bass (by Joe Boyd Vigil). But due to sample useage, Toonami lacked the ability to properly copyright the CD and the poor sells of the previous Deep Space Bass it went unreleased, until it was eventually released in 128kbps AAC/MP3 on Toonami Digital Arsenal (ToonamiArsenal.com), Toonami's largest online fan-site. The CD that was sent to the owners of Toonami Digital Arsenal didn't include a proper tracklisting, therefore the tracks were labeled "ToonamiBHM-01" - "ToonamiBHM-21". In an interview on The.Toonmaster (http://the.toonmaster.googlepages.com/interview_j.boydvigil), Joe Boyd Vigil (who did Toonami: Deep Space Bass, Toonami's first music release) stated that he thought they had used 3 of his tracks on Black Hole Megamix.
