With the last installation of the Somewhere in Detroit Mix series, DJ 3000 introduced us to the concept of Electronic Soul. A creation from the past modernized through the DJ, the producer, and the audience. Operating under the shelter of Submerge Recordings, DJ 3000 takes us, once again, on a journey through the unique sonic fabric created and inspired by his surroundings. From the farthest reaches of Gratiot Ave, to the deepest corners of 7 Mile, comes the sound of the future. Last track is an unreleased bonus track credited to R7 instead of Ray 7. Track 7 is listed as "Thru Your Soul" on the CD back sleeve. "Thru Your Soul" refers to the 12" vinyl not the actual song title played in this set.
