Bronx native, Cipha Sounds discovered his talent when his stepfather gave him some old turntables. Soon after, Cipha began pursuing his dream of becoming a professional DJ. He studied, and soon landed an internship with the Flip Squad, which opened up doors and launched his career as a first rate DJ. Cipha went from interning to touring with Lil' Kim for a year and a half, later becoming part of Flex's Pit Bull crew of DJs. Cipha soon found himself playing gigs ranging from parties for the Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri to Shaquille O'Neal. He's been seen on the small screen, making appearances on MTV Jams and MTV's Spring Break Cruise. Cipha also co-produced Funkmaster Flex's Mix Tape Volume III and currently has a solo project in the works.
