A.k.a. Alex Utzinger

Utzinger a.k.a. DJ El Dragon started with DJ-ing in 2000, when he felt in love with Black Music. Only some months later, he could be met in the Soul Café in Zurich, and shortly later he had a gig in the club El Cubanito which was the big success in his first year of being DJ. Working as resident in the Hey Club, he had the possibility to expand his skills. In 2001, Utzinger joined Capital Vibe and became resident in Le Bal and K5. After a positive and successfull co-operation, he searched a new challenge and found it in Jerome Bischoff who was responsible for jobs in the club XXL and for after partys from Destiny's Child or Usher. In 2003, Utzinger had the possibility to be the opening act from Jay-Z's Blueprint Lounge Tour and from the only Swiss concert from Busta Rhymes. At the moment, he works for the Swiss youth magazine Trend with his knowledge for Black Music. Also, he works together with the Different Swing Productions from the producer Sergio Fertitta, DB-Productions which are responsible for promotions and last but not least the Touch The Soul Team. For this year (2004), Utzinger has some new plans in the pipeline: Releasing his first record including a videoclip, founding an own label and releasing his first own album.
