Faydz began his DJ career during the explosion of the Rave scene in the early 1990s, originally going by the name Dark Fader (he changed to Fades in 1995, then Faydz in 2000) He has since gone on to perform for many of the UK's biggest Dance music brands, including Bestival, Boomtown Fair, Dreamscape, Fantazia, Hardcore Til I Die, Innovation, Moondance, Raindance, Westfest, as well hundreds of other clubs and festivals across Europe, including Germany, Holland, Ibiza, Poland and Spain. He is an honorary member of Rave band, 2 Bad Mice (producers of the massive dance anthem 'Bombscare' on legendary 90's Hardcore and Drum & Bass label, Moving Shadow Records) as scratch DJ on their Live PA's and music productions. Faydz's own productions and mixes have received huge support from BBC Radio 1 and Ministry Of Sound Radio over the years, from DJ's including Kutski and Slipmatt. In 2010, he compiled and mixed the chart topping digital album 'Future Rave Anthems 2' released on Billy 'Daniel' Bunter and Slipmatt's 'Can You Feel It' label, which won Best Album at the Nu-Rave Awards Ceremony in London.
