DJ Qpon started out making music in Summer 2004 when his brother's friend let him borrow a program called MTV Music Generator. He then made an EP that was experimental-electronic-dance based called Black Milk. Then, later in December 2004, DJ Qpon got a program called Reason 2.5 which he also used to make most tracks on the album Enter The Carbonated Forest when he was 13 years old.
