DJ Richard began DJ-ing Goth and Industrial music at The Underworld in Manchester (UK) in 1994 and hasn't escaped since. A move to Leeds in 2001 led to the birth of Dead Stars, a club playing EBM, Industrial, Electro, Noise and Synthpop, and more recently the BLEEP! club in Leeds, along with DJ Coreline. Over the many years was guest DJ'd at many events in the UK, including the main Industrial festival InFest (four times) and the infamous aftershow party (three times), the Slimelight (London), Invocation Festival, Vampire Society 10th Birthday Party, Rock City (Nottingham), Mutate/Wendyhouse (Leeds), and many others. Back in 1997 I also ran a web radio show - Global Goth Radio Show - a long time before that sort of thing was heard of in the UK. He still DJs all types of Goth, Industrial and 80s music, but personally prefers Electro, EBM and Noise. His favourite bands include Suicide Commando, Soman, Covenant, Neuroticfish and Screaming Banshee Aircrew.
