A.k.a. Tim Dowley DJ Erratik Phaze_5

After several years DJing the inner city club scene Phaze_5 was performing & recording with several groups including hip-hop outfit La Di Da, supergroup Antenna (3) (with Aussie rock legends Dave Faulkner and Kim Salmon), electronic outfit Escobar and eclectic ensemble the Coda Strings. Early on Phaze_5 worked alongside Sydney techno pioneers Stuart McCarthy and Justin Frew on remixes for The Whitlams, Kim Salmon, South End and Saints of India. Escobar’s remix of Kim Salmon’s “I’ll Be Around” (co-written by Dave Graney and Mudhoney’s Mark Arm) received high rotation on national broadcaster JJJ. In early 2015 Phaze_5 took out first place in the first three rounds of the Flipmash remix project run by Public Enemy frontman Chuck D & The Bomb Squad producer Gary G-Wiz and secured a release for the remix of Chuck D’s “PIC – I Hate Every Inch of You”. Recently Phaze_5 has produced tracks for New Zealand rapper & visual artist RFS1, Texan rapper TdashDUB along with remixes for Dubwerth and Philly independent artist Payday Monsanto.
