Dj/Producer from Bishop Auckland, North East England. Began his djing career at the tender age of 14 with Andrew Best, aka Dj.Zippy. With nothing to Dj on except 2 old hi fi units side by side, and a few old hardcore records it was a true self taught journey! He would sit for hours, often alone or with old school friends determined to learn himself how to get 2 tunes to go together. Soon he talked his parents in to buying him a set of proper turntables and mixer, actually being able to adjust the speeds of records made the difference. The mixing cam naturally after that so Learning to scratch was the next challenge. Everyday was taken up by listening to tapes in his school lessons, old rezerection and dreamscape tape packs, local clubs such as the colosseum and After Dark2 or anything else he could get his hands on. After a very short space of time him and Besty developed a love for the scene, especially early Happy Hardcore. This lead them to the biggest event in the area....Judgement day! Run by Bass Generator this was the biggest event in the North east and both soon became a regular raver, watching some of the biggest names in the scene. Along with purchasing Bonkers 1 a few month later, it inspired them to want to make it behind the decks themselves. At 15 the local youth club was hired and Zippy and Trixy (as they had now called themselves) had promoted their first event. 50 people turned up, mostly friends! The break came when they approached a local night club called Oasis. They started promoting Under 18's events which rapidly grew to sell out crowds every wednesday night. By age 16 they were asked by a local promoter to Dj at After Dark in South Tyneside, in the next 2 years they had Dj'd at all major events and clubs in the North East and North West. Dj'd with the likes of Scott Brown, Force and Styles, Dj. Kurt, Joey Riot, Dj. Unknown, Dj. Seduction, Dj. Richard & Johnny Bass, Dani Fiesta, David Traya, Asa and S1, Dj. Christian, Ultimate Buzz, Bass Generator, TechnoTrance to name but a few. Ran club Oasis for 12 year and played a part in helping a number of Dj's and Mc's break into the North East Hardcore Scene!
