Capital Pride Festival 1975 - 2000 The year 2000 marks the 25th anniversary of Capital Pride in the Washington DC, Metropolitan Area, a festival that is traditionally the largest single day event in the area. Capital Pride is presented by One In Ten and Whitman-Walker Clinic, Inc. All proceeds from the various events are donated to support G/L/B/T community programs in the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and Maryland.
