We are proud to welcome to you our newest newcomer to the Aerotek family, from Lisbon Portugal, DKult! This native born and raised producer has been making leaps and bounds with his productions as he has released material on labels such as Italo Business, Naked Lunch, Bunk3r Records and now proud to say Aerotek Recordings! His 3 track EP titled 'Emotions' is exactly the sound that Aerotek Recordings pursues, which is a well balanced combination of deep, hypnotic, groovy, dark techno!! When talks of putting this EP together, Rolando was infatuated with DKult's infectious groovin techno sounds and had to have it released here. By Rolando personally hand picking these gems, it is guarantee to help solidify the sound and direction the label is bound to go to. The EP's main track 'Gipsy Ear' is our favorite out of the three. It's crushing sound design is guaranteed to stomp floors with it's heavy, sub bassline that should rattle any speaker. Adding the simple percussion is perfect example of the less is more technique as it gives the track the perfect combination of a rolling groove with its dark sensibility and an identity of fierceness that takes charge throughout the track. It certainly grabs your attention and if you think listening to it in your home speakers makes an impact, wait until you hear it in a big room sound setup! 2nd track titled 'Laughin' (Dark)' has the same unmistakable sound qualities as Gipsy, but this one tends to get a little deeper, darker and harder with its continuation of the release. Right off the gates, this track demonstrates the fierceness that DKult is known to give. By adding the creepy vocal sampling and hats as its starts to transition, it certainly starts building character and a full head of steam. It will certainly be a top selection for that after hours, peak hour feel that we here at Aerotek are determined to bring to you. Finally, 'Dear Mother' caps the release with it's more toned down, infectious tribal groove to finish a job not just well, but greatly done! DKult certainly makes his debut here at Aerotek in STYLE and we couldn't be more happier than to introduce him to you. Hope you enjoy this massive release and play it loud!! Cheers!
