DNN is a side and solo project by Danny Prusseit who is a part of Berlins artist duo Atmogat. The project started in 2007. At that time Atmogat's music often include a slight sentimental touch, but it was never focussed as main attribute. DNN's music put that slight sentimal touch on another level. Also due to the fact that his music combines that attribute with a melancholic part. Backed by downtempo rhythms added to moody sounding sythesizer melodies and ambient alike textures, DNNs music works very hypnotical. The accessibility and deepness in his songs heighten with every second of listening. After some appearances on various compilations released by netlabels like Cold Room Netlabel (France) and Crazy Language (Germany), DNN was signed by Halbsicht Records from Germany in 2008.
