Singer of Alternative
A.k.a. Daphne Nancholas
Daphne Nancholas was a member of Dafne And The Tenderspots. She was born and brought up in St. Agnes on the north coast of Cornwall. She has been a professional singer for many years in the UK and USA. With her partner Graham Smith (7) she performed and recorded music together for many years and at the end of 2004 they finished a relaxation CD for helping people with sleep problems, stress and pain relief, called Calmtime. Dafne and The Tenderspots' 7" is now sought-after among collectors as it marked an early vinyl appearance by Alan Wilder, who would later find fame and fortune with Depeche Mode.
