Guitarplayer for the Bintangs. At first he was their roady. Later on he assisted with harmonyvocals and percussion on stage. In 2004 he became a fullblown member of the band. Plays guitar, lapsteel, harmonica and takes care of some of the lead- and harmonyvocals. On stage he sometimes takes over Frank Kraaijeveld's bassguitar, when Frank plays the guitar himself. Behind the scenes he takes care of technical issues. He is the son of the first drummer Jimmy Jansen of the Bintangs.
