Czech-Swiss conductor, chorus master, arranger, bassoonist. Born September 9, 1921 in Fryšták near Holešov (former Czechoslovakia), died August 17, 2005 in Dietikon, Switzerland. Leader of his own orchestra 1951–1968. Emigrated to Switzerland in 1968, Swiss citizen since 1985. Arranger for the DRS Big Band and the Hugo Strasser Orchestra, among others.
