International recording artist DAMIAN WILD was born in the Bronx, NY and was born to sing. DAMIAN began his career at the age of eleven as a choirboy in a local church choir, an experience he found less than heavenly: "The hymns we used to sing in church were totally boring. I wanted to sing something soulful and funky." After falling from the choir's grace (DAMIAN still insists to this day that he had something on when he lifted his choir robe in front of a packed congregation, although reliable church eyewitnesses say otherwise!) DAMIAN decided it was either the entertainment industry or reform school, so he chose what many people would consider to be the unwise choice: The Entertainment Industry! DAMIAN'S debut single "YOU'RE MY FANTASY", produced by Maurizio "Jazz Voice" Verbeni and Constantino Padovano, was released by Media Records in Italy and burned up dance floors across Italy, Germany, The Netherlands and the United States. "YOU'RE MY FANTASY" is internationally regarded as a classic Italo house track. DAMIAN penned his follow-up single "LOVE WON'T LET YOU DOWN", which was released in Europe on Radikal Records. DAMIAN has also appeared on several dance compilations including STYLIN'FREE: THE ALTERNATIVE DANCE COMPILATION , RADIKAL HOUSE PARTY, and on a Hot Tracks underground DJ compilation along with such notable acts as Moby, Sasha, Angelmoon, among others. DAMIAN'S next single, "SAY YOU WANT ME" produced by Chris "The Greek" Panaghi and featuring remixes by the legendary Guido Osorio, of the world-famous production team Razor and Guido, was a staple of dance floors and radio mix shows all over the globe. Next, DAMIAN released five singles under AMATHUS MUSIC which garnered worldwide attention and global radio and mixshow airplay, and were featured on instore playlists for major retailers such as ABERCROMBIE & FITCH, ADIDAS, TOMMY HILFIGER and on AMERICAN AIRLINES. His single "READY TO FLY AWAY" was a featured track on the cd compilation "CHRIS THE GREEK PANAGHI - WORKING THE MIX" on Water Music Records/Universal. DAMIAN has also appeared as a featured vocalist on several recent dance singles, including "Physical Love" by Digiteck feat Damian Wild; "Back for Good" by Maurizio Vebeni vs. Damian Wild; "Rhythm of My Life" by Gabriel Robella feat Damian Wild; and a dance cover of the classic YAZ 80's track, "Don't Go" by Green Fried Tomatoes feat Damian Wild. Damian previously collaborated with Italian producer MidOut, releasing two recent singles - "Together" and "Twisted". DAMIAN performed a dance cover of the massive worldwide smash BreakEven (Falling To Pieces) by the Irish band The Script, which was also produced by MidOut and released on independent US dance label KULT Records. Musically, DAMIAN finds inspiration in various styles of music, but was heavily influenced growing up by classic artists from Motown and the disco era, by the timeless soundtrack of the 80s dance scene and by everything else in between! "Music is always changing," DAMIAN says, "so I am always finding new influences." Currently, DAMIAN is working on new material set to be released in the near future.
