Deep, mature and surrounding. This is how Dan Riverman’s sonority can be described. Essentially in folk, with touches of jazz and rock the group found its essence and pace by which tells stories of life and passion, feelings and illusions, love and lovelessness.. Oporto’s band that started in 2009 and reached the current line-up in July 2014: Dan Alves (lead vocals, ac.guitar), Rui Materazzi (bass), Mike Peixoto (drums, percussion), Bruno Macedo (elec. guitar) and Pedro Neves (piano). In January of 2012, headed to London, where they were in production work with Saul Davies, guitarist for the British band James. In 2013, led by Pedro Rangel at Estúdios Rangel, the recordings of their début album took place. They had the privilege of receiving Davey Ray Moor, founding member / songwriter of the band Cousteau, who had a crucial role on producing all songs.
