Dan Voll has been a professional musician for more than 30 years. Originally from the Rockford, Illinois area, he relocated to Fernandina Beach, Florida in 2010. He has long been considered to be among the Midwest’s most versatile and accomplished guitarists. He has received 5 music awards and countless accolades from fans and peers. Dan's genres include blues, jazz, Latin jazz, rock, world music, and acoustic, including original material. Career highlights include opening for California Guitar Trio in April 2010, plus many other artists including Roy Buchanan, Herb Ellis, Guy Fricano, Lonnie Brooks, A.C. Reed, Danny Gatton, and saxophonist Richie Cole. In addition to solo performances, Voll has led successful bands including the Mud Puppies and Combo Loco - a mix of eclectic and contemporary jazz with a Latin flavor. Voll teaches guitar and is currently a guitar instructor for the Amelia Arts Academy.
