A.k.a. Daniel H. Majeske
American violinist and concertmaster (born 1932 in Detroit - died 1993 in Euclid). He made his orchestral debut with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra when he was 16. He then joined the United States Navy Band in Washington in 1951. After an audition with George Szell , he became the assistant concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra in 1959 and its associate concertmaster in 1967. Szell appointed him concertmaster in 1969.
