Daniel Capo, (born August 9th, 1989 in Miami, Florida) is an American composer, arranger and pianist. Known primarily for his work as a chiptune artist, Daniel has also written music for indie games, short films and podcasts. Most recently, Daniel worked on audio content for The Sims 4, as an Audio Artist for EA Games. Daniel also maintains a YouTube channel devoted to performing original arrangements of video game music for solo piano and small ensembles, as well as featuring his own original VGM and chiptune music. Daniel completed his MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media at Mills College in 2013, and received his BM in piano performance at Stetson University as a student of renowned pianist Michael Rickman. At Stetson University, he also studied composition with Sydney Hodkinson, Manuel de Murga and Computer Music with Nathan Wolek.
