Daniel Jakob

voc, g, CH
Singer of Electronic
A.k.a. Dejot (2)

Swiss vocalist and rapper, who first had a pop success with Merfen Orange in 1996. After the band split due to differing expectations of its major label, he restarted his career as musician. Attending the Barcelona Sonar-festival in 2003 with Andreas Ryser as 'Electronic street musicians', resulted in the band Filewile being created, later also supported by Joy Frempong. After the split of that project, Mouthwatering Records was the main objective of Ryser and Jakob. In 2016, Jakob started his Solo-project 'Dubokaj', concentrating on Reggae and Dub.
