American conductor DANIEL LEWIS is active in both professional and academic music circles. After completing studies at the Hochschule fur Musik in Munich, he made his debut in 1974 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. From 1971-1982 he was the Music Director of the Pasadena Symphony and for more than 25 years developed the Orchestral Studies Department at the University of Southern California.
