Daniel McKernan is a New York-based artist, musician and curator. He has collaborated on live performances and visuals for numerous musicians, including Coil, Thighpaulsandra and Cyclobe. His debut EP as experimental synthpop duo Protection (7) is being released on the new label, Formlessness Press. His short films and video installations have been exhibited at prestigious institutions around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Brooklyn Academy of Music, La Mama Galleria (New York), the Andy Warhol Museum (Pittsburgh), the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (San Francisco), the Horse Hospital (London), and many others. His artwork, interviews and editorials have been featured in The Wire, V Magazine, VMAN, PLAYGIRL, Brainwashed, Noisevox, Satanica, Flavorpill, K48 and THE FUN published by the Museum of Art & Design.
